About the Author
Glen R. Stansfield is a qualified aircraft engineer, a profession he has pursued for over forty years. Great book by a new author, should be headed to the NYT best sellers.

One of the better books that I have read in a long time, the ending has more twists than a Tigers Tail, The author shows a great knowledge of Scotland and other areas. It is a pleasure to read a book that is not filled with sex and violence I would recommend this book to any reader and look forward to any more books by this author.

Fishing for Stones....well, the stones being diamonds. That's all that I'm going to give away about it. The author did his homework. He knows aircraft, flying, and most of all how to weave a darn good plot that includes everything that a good crime yarn should have leaving the reader wondering when it will all tie in together. Not to worry, it does and with flourish. The characters are well developed. You're sweating in the pilot's seat of the chopper looking for a place to land. And you're hunkered down in the bush in Africa.

It kept it up to the end. I'll be looking out for Glen's second effort. Enjoy.

It will last the school year

This book was required for one of my kids. The book came clean and she states it is useful and easy to follow. My Mandarin is non-existant so I can't speak to the quality of the writing. But the book itself is well made and even I can follow the pictures. It seems to progress logically. And maybe most important it looks like it will hold up for more than 6 months.

This book aligns with mandarin IB, has simplified and traditional. This is the workbook add on to the textbook, very comprehensive practices that includes writing characters to drawing in meanings. Useful when learning in conjunction with the text!

The book is more entertaining rather than having educational value.

I was hoping this book was a pragmatic, step-by-step guide about how to be a better entrepreneur. It is not. This book tries to motivate 9-5er’s to be entrepreneurs. The book is more entertaining rather than having educational value. I hope this review helps, it was a pretty good book. Reading the book felt like watching TV, but with words. Not very enlightening, and wondering afterwards if this was time well spent.

It was not what I need or was expecting. I need guidance on how to wisely bring on more staff for my startup small business. Sales staff, office staff, book keeping, appointment setters, etc. I need real help to make good decisions. This book is more of a conversational piece for people who want to become entrepreneurs but are not taking the plunge.

Don't pass this one up!

Absolutely, hands down a MUST read if you are an entrepreneur or planning to become one. I was encouraged to read this book from my mentor in Beachbody when I became a coach. Beachbody also promotes SUCCESS magazine, of which Darren Hardy is the CEO. I can't wait to read it again and again. There's so much to learn from it, I want to go back and see what I may have missed.

This book hit points that resonated with me, that made me scream "Yes, that's me!!" Bit it also hit points that made me cringe because it was so truthful. I cringed in fear and gratitude of the information given.

This book is amazing! I have had a great time when reading it. The love story is interesting for me. Some funny and also emotional here. The cover is quite simple but its content sounds good for me. Chock full of technical data-a tinkerer's dream

This is the BIBLE of A-Series engine tuning for a reason. Yes, it is a bit outdated but so is the A-Series engine. There really hasn't been too much major development since this printing.
Vizard covers ever topic in fantastic depth and gives real world data and anecdotes to every aspect of the engine. Each subsection on it's own would be worth the purchase price if only for obtaining a full understanding of part function.
This book is not a quick guide to get a few HP from your engine, it is a comprehensive take on every aspect of the engine and how it can be modified.
The pictures are old but plentiful and the layout is fairly poor but the information is all there.

Very detailed and informative

If you want to know the most effective tuning methods for the A-series engine, this is the book. Don't look at this book as a build guide with bolt torque specs and assembly instructions, but rather a high level guide to plan the components for a high-performance engine build or for which "bolt-on" performance parts can give your current engine a little boost. As an added bonus, Mr. Vizard occasionally drops some subtle humor for a book that is not as dry a read as you would expect.

Definitive Book on the "A" series

There are quite a few resources these days for the MG/Morris/Austin enthusiast looking to soup up his or her little Midget or Mini cooper, but this book remains a standard go-to reference for getting the most power out of these little engines while discussing the compromises you have to make to do so. Anyone with an 'A' series engine under their bonnet, who is looking for that little extra bit of knowledge (sometimes way too much information, actually) will love this book.

Forerunner of Pope Francis's Joy of the Gospel

In clear and compelling language, this Aparecida Document relates the Gospel and teachings of Christ to the economic and social problems of Latin America, stressing that work for social justice is right at the heart of Christianity. The vision here is of a Catholic faith open to the goodness of other Christians and faith traditions, and indeed of all committed to the task of securing human wellbeing for everyone on this planet. The present Pope as Cardinal Jorge Begoglio was in charge of writing this summary of the fifth decennial conference of the bishops of Latin America in Aparecida, Brazil, in 2007. This conference endorsed once again the Church's option for the poor and commitment to improving social justice, especially by empowering poorer groups to be agents of their own social and economic liberation. The style and content of the Aparecida documents are followed closely in Pope Francis's Apostolic Exhortation of November 2013, The Joy of the Gospel.

This document is amazing. It is a summary of the discussions and resolutions of the CELAM bishops' meeting in 2007. The then Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, is credited with the compilation of this document, made after two weeks of discussions by the Bishops of Latin America and the Caribbean. The appraisal of his amazing effort in compiling this document was a factor in Bergoglio's support in the conclave that elected him Pope Francis. The document includes two speeches from Pope Benedict XVI: his address to open the meeting and his homily at the Eucharist that celebrated the opening of the assembly. This document gives the reader valuable insights into the reality of the Church of Latin America and the Caribbean, and leads one to wonder when the Bishops of N. America are going to bring forth a "mission statement" like it.
